St. Maarten Carnival Magazine is a publication introduced in 2004 by the late Fernando Thewet, a.k.a. “The Mighty Cat”. Local Entrepreneur, Calypsonian and Photographer who passed away in 2008.

His son, Orlando Thewet, has pledged to take up where his father left off and carry on the family business. He plans to further promote the magazine locally to leading hotels, and to work collaboratively with the St. Maarten Tourist Office in a joint effort to promote Carnival on St. Maarten - an event that attracts not only tourists, but especially our neighbors from neighboring Caribbean islands.
